"We were celebrating our wedding anniversary and the receptionist upgraded us to a newly refurbished room on the 11th floor. The room was amazing! We were also given vouchers for a complimentary drink at the bar. The service was exceptional and we really enjoyed our stay."

"Excellent stay , really memorable, comfy, very family friendly , location and staff are great - only things that could be improved were quality of some cooked breakfast items , decor around bath tub and air con (bit difficult to control) but overall absolutely fantastic and probably best hotel in area by far , even versus Radisson. "Second time staying at this hotel and it didn’t disappoint…not always possible but at 11.30 our room was ready and allocated when we checked in … lovely staff in all areas, breakfast was excellent, room was spotless .. the decor around the hotel is stylish and has bham city centre on the doorstep "

"Very noisy as at the front of the building. Room large as it may have been previously a disabled room however felt empty as not enough furniture. Bed comfy. Breakfast Epic"

"Brilliant easy check-in, my wife and I arrived a little before three o clock but very helpful receptionist allocated us a room early. Room was fab, really simple perfect shower. Highly recommend breakfast! Buffet - but all fresh, all hot and a freshly cooked egg station fried, poached & omelettes! Brill!"

"Hotel is clean but starting to feel a little tired, although not a reason not to stay. The amenities in the room were great with safe, hair dryer, iron and ironing board, trouser press, and shower gel, shampoo and conditioner. The bed was comfortable but pillows weren't great. There is plenty of space in the car park but the barriers are closed at 11pm meaning it cannot be accessed from both sides and it was not clear how to get in after this time. It would have been useful to know this before...
