This was a last minute booking for a spa getaway. The hotel itself is lovely and with so many facilities, including a Starbucks stand, I didn't have to leave the building if I didn't want too. The apartment I stayed in was compact but a lovely touch of privacy and had everything I could possibly need for my night away. The pool and spa areas were small but very clean. It's a pity the jacuzzi wasn't working during my stay. The gym was also small but was quiet and had everything I needed. I also booked myself in for a treatment at the spa too. I would certainly go back.

My sister and I had a brilliant weekend away in London being "typical tourists". The hotel was lovely and very comfortable but we found it a little out of the way. The hotel is situated between Bethnal Green underground and shoreditch high street overground stations it was a 10 min walk from Bethnal Green stop on the central line.
Lovely old fashioned style hotel with good friendly service. We felt like we were staying in a country house hotel not near the centre of London. The staff were so pleasent and helpful nothing was too much trouble. Our continental breakfast tray was one of the nicest we have had with some nice touches such as warm bread rolls. The nicest hotel we have ever stayed in London.
I had booked this on a book now pay later basis and I had requested a quiet room when I booked back in January. On arrival I was disappointed to find a note in the room explaining the building works were taking place close by - I would have expected to have known about this before my arrival. I was also on the 2nd floor - even a room higher up would have been quieter. The staff that we met were all lovely and couldn't do enough for us, even gaving me a card to wish me luck in the marathon. The free Pringles and jelly babies came in handy also! i did prefer my stay at the temple court though as it was much quieter and had a nice courtyard, I booked this one due to expedia VIP however never got an upgrade despite the hotel not being full, that was disappointing also.
