“Superb”
Excellent value, central location, friendly helpful staff. Money well spent.
“Definitely stay again”
Booked this hotel for a weekend break and wasn't disappointed at all! The service was brilliant. Only fault was that I asked for a king size bed and somehow got 2 singles but as I was only staying for 1 night I didn't bother to complain. Not a good look slipping down between the 2 beds lol. However everything else was excellent and I'd definitely book there again but make sure I get my all in one king bed :)
“Spend your money elsewhere!!”
Stay at the Crown Plaza Hotel up the road much more comfortable and well maintained.
“Very slick Birmingham hotel”
From the moment you step into the foyer of the hotel it feels like something a bit special. The decor and interior is obviously well designed and feels very luxurious. The reception staff were very professional and friendly when checking in and out. The room was also nicely decorated - bright and colourful, which is a pleasant change from other hotels' bland colouring. The bathroom was nice and spacious, with some gorgeous smelling toiletries. The location is great for getting to the main train station and for access to local restaurants, bars, etc.
“quite nice hotel (as for English standard)”
nice hotel, well situated, very friendly stuff, nice rooms.
“great hotel”
The hotel room was nicely decorated. Service was great. No problem to check out late. Breakfast buffet was good. good location, quickly in the city centre, train station and so on. still not too loud
“Great hotel,central location”
Helpful staff.Clean room with quality linens, central location to places of interest.
“excellant”
central location excellant. Reception staff very helpful. The room was very clean and tastefully decorated and was also very quiet. The bed and bedding were exceptionally comfortable. Very soft, lush pillows which certainly aided a good nights sleep. The only one negative was that the shower let it down. It was a bit "weak". The water came out more of a trickle. It may have had something to do with the bathroom being equipped to accomodate disabled visitors but on saying that we were still able to bathe adequately. Staying at the hotel was a very pleasant experience and certainly a hotel I would stay at again.
“Best hotel i have stayed in.”
Slight mix up on arrival, but soon sorted and then found ourselves in two great rooms. Everything as it should be . Great breakfast. Would definately recommend this hotel to anyone and will be returning next year.
“Excellent for theatre break”
Ideally situated for theatres and city entre opposite the Mailbox and hotel price was very reasonable as part of a theatre break in Birmingham. My wife was worried that this might mean a low standard but the room was excellent, very clean, nicely furnished, comfortable bed and well laid out. Superb breakfast in the morning - the only cautionary note was that that the bar was very pricey even by hotel standards!
