"Hotel was in a good location for the utilia arena. Parking was easy and paid for on arrival. Check in was easy and quick. Room was basic but had what we needed, needed a bit of a paint and had a funny smell. Shower was hot and bed was large and comfy with nice big fluffy pillows. Bar area was open late and ideal for a few drinks after the show and before bed also free tea&coffee machine. Breakfast was great, well stocked and hot and lots of choice. Easy check out. We enjoyed our stay "

"Used the hotel as visiting Birmingham for a premier league game, firstly great price, good location walking from the train station and fairly easy getting home from villa park. Room was spotlessly clean, fresh and modern. Check in was easy and no stress of keys etc , all done on your mobile phone. Will definitely use again next time I’m in Birmingham. "

"Second time staying at the Apollo. First time wasn’t so great, had a bedroom just of an open walkway, large gaps in the door where the wind blow through. This time however, I had a room within one of the blocks, the room was basic but comfortable, bed and pillows were good the room was nice and warm and the breakfast was adequate."
