Wonderful and quiet and peaceful. Appreciated boxed water instead of bottles and fewer single use plastic items. Scuba shop was fantastic and had a couple of days of nice diving, but you can tell the cruise ships are causing reef degradation. Service was fantastic and I felt well cared for. Bed lovely. Heavenly scent in the room. My one criticism is the food and drinks. There are four restaurants and I tried them all. I’m not an overly picky person I don’t think, but I really struggled at all of them. Somehow even the breakfast buffet was super bland and even fruit juice and coffee tasted very watered down. Everything was over fried and burned tasting. The seafood was the best but honestly fried when it could have been grilled a lot of the time. The cochinita pibil was the best dish. That I could recommend.

It's an exceedingly beautiful space and very comfortable. We had a large, gorgeously decorated room that opened onto the beautiful patio. We love the staff, the breakfasts, the freshly-made margaritas in the evening. The Lebanese restaurant next door is excellent. The neighborhood is great for walking. My husband and I have stayed here twice. We highly, highly recommend it.

This property is amazing! First, its close to the airport, and there is a marina across the street which has several different food options and money exchange services. Close to most touristy places. The service was truly the best ive ever had in Mexico! The hotel was very nice and clean! I recommend 100% the staff was amazing! Very friendly!

In Cancun, you expect fiesta vibes—not a Westin that feels like a timeshare trap with Uber Eats as its main restaurant
Location-wise, you can’t beat it—right in the Zona Hotelera, where you come to do what Cancun does best: be in the middle of the action. Unfortunately, the property itself is dated and doesn’t live up to the Westin brand name. Food selection was so limited that even the staff recommended delivery apps (and yes, we joined the locals in tapping our phones).
What really tested our patience was the relentless timeshare push—every time you left your room, like clockwork. Security protocols were solid, and they arranged a ride to the airport, but the private driver didn’t honor the quoted fare—classic Cancun “tourist tax.” Staffing felt thin, and when we arrived with luggage for five, no one helped until I tracked down a baggage cart myself
