Resort is a lot of fun and coba is solid even though you don’t have access to the rest of the property without spending more on a bracelet. Room was solid but they didn’t have a king bed so they offered to push our two small beds together (which didn’t happen so we did it ourselves). The mini fridge in the room also wasn’t working so coming back to the room was underwhelming from not having cold drinks in our area. The staff was great and everyone was extremely kind to us and helpful so there are no complaints there. The buffet was good and the drinks were great with a solid selection for both which was nice.

This was our second time staying here, and once again, it did not disappoint. Everything was just as amazing as we remembered, from the outstanding service to the beautiful atmosphere. The staff Israel and Fernando we exemplary as front desk and very knowledgeable of the resort and their staff ! Our 30th anniversary was spectacular because of them upgrading us when room was available the last 3 days with a private pool, wine and chocolate covered strawberries was the best touch and the banner! We enjoyed the resort , beach, staff , activities, the weather was perfect low humidity which was a plus to our vacation ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We had traveled to Bahía Príncipe Akumal in 2023. We returned this year, but to Grand Tulum. Our expectations were set extremely high when we went to Akumal, and were slightly let down visiting Grand Tulum. We were in a group of 8 and were told at check in we would not be able to eat together, and dinner reservations could only be set for 3/5 nights there due to restaurants not being open. 2/3 restaurants we went to were not great, honestly the buffet had better food! The AC was set and we didn’t have the ability to change it so the room stayed at 75 degrees. The pool, entertainment, golf, and workers were absolutely fantastic. Not sure I would come back to Bahia after this experience.

We very much enjoyed our stay @ Sian Kahn. Here is why. This property is smaller than the other Bahia Principe properties. Our room was literally right at the 3 pools and restaurant there. We had very little walking. So close to the main lobby, buffet and spa. Yes, the shuttle (which were is good shape and safe) took us to the other properties whenever we wanted. Those properties have more walking and yes, they are beautiful and more modern. For us, we wanted very low key and to rest, rest, rest. Excellent massages!!!! We went to the tequila tasting Very fun. Pastor was our host that night very funny. We had so much tequila it was very very cheap for the amount we got. He also made sure our buffet experiences were perfect. We also went to the Fire dancer party. What a party many many many tequila shots were had and good dancing fun. Sian Kahn is exactly what we needed this trip. Could the rooms be modernized? Yes but, are quite adequate and very quiet. 1000% would come back.
