We had 4 of us doing a golf trip, we had booked 2 rooms with 2 queen beds in each room and they said we could not get that they only had rooms with 1 King available and they would put a Cot in there to help. The room was not very comfortable once the cot was added as it couldn't accommodate another sleeping space. When we checked in they gave us tickets for our travel golf bags and said they would transfer it to our rooms once ready as we would be out golfing when the room became available. We got back after our round and our baggage was still sitting beside the bus stop and hadn't been moved so that was beyond frustrating that this wasn't taken care of as offered. The food was okay we always just did the Buffet option and the breakfast was always good the Dinner buffet was just okay, not as many options.

The architecture of this resort is really gorgeous, however I expected much better services and customer service from a luxury resort. Pilates and fitness classes are advertised, but there was only a very beginner level yoga class available in the morning. Service to the pool was inconsistent - sometimes we would get service, sometimes we would need to go ourselves to the bar to order, and our requests were sometimes forgotten. I was also surprised to see the amount of extra charges - there was a whole separate menu of food at exorbitant fees, which makes you question the quality of the food that was included as part of the all-inclusive charge. There were cancellation fees of 25USD for the yoga classes - my own fancy gym in Montreal wouldn’t charge me that. Room service required a fee, and it was not otherwise possible to bring food to the room. These are things I expect at a regular hotel, but not one that advertises itself as a luxury hotel. It really undermines the luxury of it all. Aside from that, it is a stunning resort. Very calm and clean.

Staff was amazing like ABSOLUTELY amazing , food was amazing in every restaurant, so many activities to do. The only thing me and my gf didn’t like so much was the fact that we had to ask them multiple times to clean our room and give us extra towels, slippers, water, or change the bed sheets. Otherwise, everything was so perfect especially the restaurants and the buffet ( it had a lot of variety of foods and very clean)

Our honeymoon at Paraiso de la Bonita was absolutely unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, every aspect of the experience was first-class. The resort is intimate, peaceful, and truly feels like a private sanctuary rather than a large commercial hotel. The service was extraordinary. Our personal butlers, Norma and Cath, were outstanding and made us feel like celebrity guests throughout our stay. They handled every detail with warmth, professionalism, and genuine care, ensuring that our honeymoon was seamless and incredibly special. The resort itself is a work of art. The architecture, décor, and curated collection of antiques and artwork create a one-of-a-kind atmosphere. Everywhere you look, there is something beautiful and thoughtfully designed. Walking through the property feels like an immersive visual experience. The food and drinks were excellent, with high-quality ingredients and beautifully prepared meals. The spa, pools, and beachfront setting were equally impressive, providing the perfect combination of luxury and relaxation. If you are looking for a romantic, sophisticated, and tranquil all-inclusive resort with impeccable service, this is one of the most special places we have ever visited. We could not have chosen a better destination for our honeymoon and look forward to returning.
