"Our family stayed at the Family Selection area. I would recommend this for any family staying at the resort. Our family butler was attentive to our needs and friendly. They sent us a daily updates of activities happening around the resort. The Family Selection restaurant, The Nest, was great as well. Service was amazing! Gosh, I could eat up all the crapes! The family selection pool and beach were fantastic! The staff were kind, thoughtful and attentive. I would definitely recommend a stay here! "

"This resort was honestly one of my best experiences in Mexico so far. Loads of activities for the kids, food was a solid 8/10 most days and swimming with the turtles was amazing, staff was also very helpful. We travelled with a group and found it easy to get around. Definitely would recommend and plan to go back in the near future. My only concern which is pretty minor was the smell of the pool bar bathrooms. "

"Our stay at Grand Sirenis Riviera Maya Resort & Spa was absolutely amazing from check-in to check-out! From the moment we arrived, everyone was so attentive and welcoming. The resort itself is beautiful and incredibly clean, you can really tell they take great pride in maintaining the grounds. Every area felt well cared for and relaxing. The staff were truly INCREDIBLE. Guest services consistently checked in on us, and since we booked through Expedia, we even received a complimentary hydrotherapy spa experience, which was such a nice touch. At dinner each night, the staff always made sure we were happy, and the service at every restaurant was top-tier. Our favorite experience was Carnal—the show and the food were both AMAZING and definitely a highlight of our trip! But the person who truly made our stay unforgettable was Isaias, the bartender at Sambay. He went above and beyond for my boyfriend and me, providing exceptional service and making every visit so fun and memorable. Overall, this resort was nothing short of perfect. If you’re thinking about going—DO IT. You won’t regret it! "

"El Dorado Seaside Suites is marketed as a five-star resort, but in our experience, it falls short of that standard. There are positives: the property is beautiful, rooms are very large, and the included excursions are a major highlight. Our trip to Maroma Beach was incredible. One staff member, Gabriel on the Palms side (Bali beds/exotic lounge), was exceptional and truly made a difference. However, the overall experience didn’t match expectations. The rooms are spacious but dated, and we had several issues (shower not working properly, broken phone/TV, balcony door that didn’t lock). Some were fixed quickly, others weren’t addressed. Food was a major disappointment. Aside from a decent meal at Mia Casa, the buffet and room service were poor and not at a five-star level. Service was inconsistent. Concierge support dropped off after declining the timeshare presentation, and we were given incorrect information that caused us to miss an event. Dining reservations were limited to very early or very late times, with little flexibility. Transportation was unreliable. Shuttles were inconsistent with long waits, and there was no coordination during busy times. It was also difficult to find loungers, as the policy against reserving them isn’t enforced. Overall, this felt closer to a 3–3.5 star experience."

"The staff was great but it seems that in order to save cost things al have changed in regards to food, entertainment and quality. Last time I was there things were great now it’s just average. Would reconsider going back, with all these changes I would consider going somewhere else."

"We had a wonderful stay at Catalonia Royal Tulum. The hotel itself was very clean, and one of our absolute favorite parts was the walk from the main area to the pool and beach—it’s a beautiful jungle path that really makes the experience feel unique and peaceful. Along the way, we saw lots of coatis, which were so fun and added to the whole nature vibe. The restaurants were very good overall, and we upgraded to the Privilege package, which was definitely worth it—especially for access to the Bloved restaurant, which we loved. The beach was absolutely beautiful. We spent so much time just sitting, relaxing, and enjoying the view. The breakfast buffet was also a highlight—very expansive with tons of options, so there was always something for everyone. The only downside for us was the amount of smoking throughout the resort. Unfortunately, we often couldn’t leave our balcony door open because of the cigarette smell, and it was noticeable in many areas. It’s a bit of a drawback, especially in such a stunning natural setting. Overall, a great stay with beautiful surroundings, good food, and a relaxing atmosphere—with just that one area for improvement."
