The staff at this hotel are amazing. They are helpful and very friendly. The wifi in the rooms were not the best however they had lots of seating area in the lobby to hangout. This hotel was within walking distance for everything.
Room is quite basic but has fridge and air conditioning which is definitely needed in the summer months! The staff were extremely helpful and gave fantastic advice about where to eat. The hotel terrace has amazing views, worth getting a drink and sitting out there on a night.

Having had a long days travel we were unsure about our first stay in Florence. We had a little difficulty in finding the hotel down a side street, however this was probably more to do with the lack of familiarity of the surroundings and the long days travel as the hotel was walking distance from the train station.
We had originally booked to stay for two nights in a quadruple room, but had extended it to three at the last minute and as the quadruple room wasn't available we had a triple room the first day, then had to swap rooms for the next two. This was organised before we left and the staff were quick to respond and helpful throughout. When we arrived we were a little dissapointed with the room, it was very basic, though clean, despite this it was clear after an initial walk around that the location was very central to the old town and good. The staff moved all of our luggage when we changed room with no fuss and were very helpful during our stay. The second room was a lot better, with a newly fitted bathroom and was more spacious for me, my wife and two kids. Overall it was a good stay. Breakfast was a fairly basic buffet.
The centerpiece of this Florence neighborhood is the Basilica di San Lorenzo, one of the largest churches in the city. Located near the city's main market, the most celebrated aspect of this structure may be the Cappelle Medicee. Also notable is the Laurentian Library, which was conceived and built by Michelangelo.
