Giuseppe and the other front desk staff went out of their way to help, provide recommendation and help when my husband got sick. Thank you so much! Many folks have commented about the stairs. But the climb (there are 67 to be exact) may leave you breathless, but is to be expected given the age of the building and we opted for the stairs to be SO centrally located. We walked EVERYWHERE during our stay and found it easy to navigate. It's about a 20-minute way to the train station and so easy to get to ALL the museums and the view of the Duomo (from our room as well as the rooftop terrace) make the climb SO worthwhile. We found the shower to be small, but also discovered that this is often the case in Italy and it was workable. I appreciated the bidet and the heated towel rack and the ability to open both the bathroom and bedroom windows. The rooms are good sized, but a little dated. No big deal for us.
