The owner and the staff were very accommodating and very communicative. Everything was comfortable, clean, and wonderful. The location was perfect with the food market across the street and the rest of Florence, including the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore, were all within a comfortable walking distance. Added to this was a series of 4 stone stairs to arrive at the guest rooms. Once, inside light, modern, cool and comfortable with the large Mercado (market) just opposite. Room was very nice and roomy with all the extras. The host and staff were delightful and very accommodating! They let us bring our luggage early and placed it in our rooms when ready. They arranged a cab for us to airport and checked in to make sure everything went well. Also had a wonderful breakfast with fresh pastries and lots of options. We only stayed one night after we couldn't extend our stay at another hotel but I wish we had spent out entire stay here! The room was a good size and the kitchen had everything to cook with and breakfast was supplied as well as cakes and various other food during the day. The only thing is that it is quite noisy being near the markets but earplugs are supplied and all was good.
