Lovely hotel staff lovely. Wasn’t impressed that there was a 12 percent service charge added to two glasses of already expensive wine that I went to the bar and bought myself. Service charge should only be allowed when you have table service whether it is discretionary or not

Great size room for a family of 4. Double and 2 singles made the kids happy.

We stayed for 1 night - On arrival early morning the Reception Staff were very professional- friendly and allowed us to drop our luggage off before we could check in. Once we went back later on Check-in was so quick the staff had taken our luggage to our room which was very nice. The Room was ideal for our stay - very clean and facilities were great - we had a good nights sleep (bed was so comfortable). Fantastic for a business trip - great location and great facilities - also a work space area next to the reception which saved me trudging through the rain to an office. Big clean room and great food and drink options

Very smart and modern hotel with premium amenities. We booked a level upgrade and the lounge access was great for our family group.

Really kind and welcoming staff, lovely hotel in a great location. We really enjoyed our stay at the Holmes hotel where a lot of thought has clearlt gone into quirky details and Sherlock Holmes themed decor.We particularly appreciated the nice touch of the sherlock holmes books for our two boys.

Great service. Very clean and classic looking. 5 minute walk from central public transit. A plethora of very good restaurants and shopping within 5 minute walk. Was 7 minutes from the location of the conference I was attending. In this part of London, you cant ask for a better price for the service, quality and location.

Great hotel but very warm, nice shower good location. A little pricey for what you get but would stay again. Was told would get an upgrade but never happened.

Great hotel stay, couldn’t fault anything about this hotel. Great selection at breakfast. Rooms cleaned everyday, good standard of housekeeping. Aldgate/Tower Hill tube stations only 5 mins walk.

It’s a great hotel, modern and stylish

We were greeted at reception by Alexander who was so friendly, polite and helpful.Such a credit to the hotel . The room and bathroom were very clean and the beds comfy. The hotel is ideally placed for theatres and lots of places to eat. The Italian cafe over the road in Russell square garden is wonderful. This was my second visit to the hotel and I will definitely return.

The history of the building is so interesting, all the links with the Titanic (look for Lucky George the dragon on the grand staircase). And the location is superb, easy walking distance into the British Museum, Shaftesbury Avenue and Soho
