"The host never responded to any communications. I tried calling, SMS, email and hotel.com chat. The agent also tried to contact them unsuccessfully. I had to wait until 4pm on the day of arrival before the agent agreed to re-book. After that I then had to wait for hotels.com to respond. Gave up and asked for a refund. These people will leave you oit of pocket, on the street, in the dark. Dangerous and unethical practice especially for lone female travellers."

"Overlooks sea with fabulous views of the Isle of Wight Needles. Facilities were top notch. Particularly enjoyed soaking in the huge bath with tons of hot water. Bed was very comfortable and the bedding was top quality. Fridge in room was extremely useful as this year has been a heatwave. Would recommend guests use the blackout blinds if they don’t want to be woken by the early morning sunshine. The stairs to the bedrooms are quite steep and narrow so I struggled with my knee injury.
