Excellent location with the property steeped in history. Food offer is very good, highly recommend. Rooms comfortable with some nice homely touches. You have to park offsite which is about £5 per stay at Alma Rd car park in Romsey.

The hotel was excellent, but the service in the restaurant, especially for breakfast was not good. We had to chase our cooked breakfast 3 times, and waited for over 30 minutes. TBF they apologised and the breakfast was deducted from our bill. The housekeeping staff, especially Sally were more than excellent, and went to great lengths to make our stay comfortable. Overall the room, the location were excellent, and we would stay again. Just a little more attentive in the food service area, please.
