The staff was excellent and attentive. Checking in and out was a breeze. Tables weren’t cleaned soon after people left after breakfast. Many times you had to wait for a table. Breakfast was decent.

This was chosen to be close to the cruise port and shopping area. The room was very compact so keep that in mind. Bed comfy and bathroom compact. No refrigerator as in most UK hotels.

Stayed prior to a cruise. Great location. Really comfortable and clean room. Nice breakfast buffet with good variety. One elevator was out of service during our stay which made things a bit painful considering the number of guests at the hotel.

We enjoyed our pre-cruise stay at the Moxy, and believe that you will, too. Arriving in Southampton by train from London, it was a short walk (no more than 10 minutes) from the station to the hotel. It was a leisurely 20-minute walk to the ship. The staff were sincerely friendly and helpful. We were greeted with a smile and welcome drink. The menu in the bar area was excellent -- and the breakfast was super.

Liked: Cleanliness

Pros The room was generally clean although the carpet had stains The cleaning staff are lovely Cons The room is very small and poor value There was no working WiFi the entire weekend I stayed The man on reception on October 5th was extremely unhelpful despite the reception being empty at 6.45am. I recommend Premier Inn Southampton for a better value stay - will not be booking Moxy again.
