Worst Hotel in the UK
The Hotel advertised a price, but on arrival there were hidden costs for parking at £10 per night. The room was very dated with woodchip paper on the walls which had been painted many times, with fitted wardrobes that were falling apart and lose, the bathroom was awful, there was black mould all around the bathroom ceiling with no ventilation, the sink was plastic for god sake. there were no crockery to have a cup of tea/coffee only paper cups, the bed was rock hard and both my partner and i had no sleep at all, there were trucks turning up at the hotel at night that made a lot of noise. The breakfast that was pre booked on our arrival was awful as well, it looked like it had been cooked at 7am and left on the side until our booked time at 9:30am, it was stone cold, again only paper cups and a pre packaged cereal cup of your choice and a plastic drinks carton and a straw for the milk. When we complained the reply we got was this is the best they could achieve under covid restrictions, as they believed that was acceptable. £85.00 for a night of no sleep and no breakfast. please do not stay here you will regret it. I have a video but can not attach it as they will not allow me to because of its size.
