Great location -- right around the corner from the Vic Theater. Walking distance to tons of restaurants, Lincoln Park Zoo.... right by the EL Belmont Station. About a mile from the Kingston Mines blues club. On a nice day, easy walk. That would have to be the biggest downfall to the restaurant. Our 3rd floor room looked out onto the EL -- loud announcements all night long, bright lights. The building is older -- charming. it really smelled nice; that makes a difference. The room was clean, the beds comfortable, the staff helpful and very nice. Parking (for a fee) was easy and convenient. There was a breakfast available; but with Ann Sathers' restaurant just a few doors down, we opted for the restaurant. $600+ for two nights right in the middle of everything -- that includes nearly $100 ($92.xx) in city fees. You are welcome, Chicago. :)
We were very happy with the cozy little hidden jewel. You really didn't need a vehicle but if you do have one it is really nice to be able to get a sticker to place on your windshield to park for free. For those that are not good at parallel parking you will have a hard time because parking is hard to find & tight. We felt very save walking at all hours of the day. I know they call NY the city that doesn't sleep but I think they lost there name to Chicago! Young crowd, healthy and same sex friendly. We would be returning customers :-)
Hotel is in a nice, tree-lined neighborhood 4-5 miles from downtown and right near Lake Michigan. I had no dinner one night, so I asked how to walk to some places. Within 5 minutes, I stumbled across a bunch of good to nice restaurants that were a safe walk from the hotel. Ended up grabbing some good BBQ and heading back to my room. I had the King Suite, which gave me room to spread out, but the living room area needed more furniture... at least a coffee table, as just having a couch and chair fill a 15x20 foot space seemed inadequate. Room was very clean, but a tad on the musty side, as others have commented. All staff were very helpful and nice to deal with. Minibar had low prices, so I wasn't hesitant to grab some water and coke. Having larger flat panel TVs would have been nice, as 32" models are too small now, especially when hooking up my tablet via an HDMI cable. Overall, due to 2 conferences I attended downtown, saving over $100 per night (more like $150) was so worth it. $10 Uber rides back and forth to downtown was worth it.
This is a comfortable hotel, a 15-minute walk from Wrigley Field and the Red Line. The one noticeable drawback was the complimentary breakfast. There were only 3 small tables. I had to eat sitting on a sofa next to a complete stranger. If they’re going to offer a free breakfast, they should take out all the living room furniture and turn that room into a dedicated breakfast area.

Loved it! I got a private room and bath, and loved the whole ambiance there! Good full breakfast with lots of options, nice courtyard out back, and great location (nice quiet neighborhood). Staff was very helpful and friendly!
I didn't realize until I got there that the kitchen area had freezers and refrigerators and cubicles to store food if you want to cook there....great idea!
This place was super close to Wrigley field and downtown. Staff was very friendly. It's a bit noisy because there were a lot of people there, and the bed wasn't the most comfortable, but if you are just looking for a place to sleep and shower this is a good place to go. I don't know as if I would stay for more than a couple of nights at a time, but I liked that they had some security measures in place and that it was kind of hidden. Overall I enjoyed my stay, and recommend it.
Trendy Lincoln Park is home to boutiques, movie theaters, stores, restaurants, coffee shops, bars, and clubs. The 1,200-acre park of the same name is also here, including the admission-free Lincoln Park Zoo within its grounds. St. Vincent de Paul and St. Josaphat’s ─ two architecturally significant Polish cathedrals ─ lend the neighborhood a touch of Old World charm.
