"The staff at the front desk were welcoming, friendly and always so helpful. Returning from a long day of sightseeing to have a cocktail in the lounge became a high point of the day for us. I appreciated the "green energy" steps that were taken, down to very small things."
"We had a lovely 2 day stay here. Quick walk to the central line at Queensway. Felt safe and welcomed in the area. Lovely Hyde park is just across the street!"
"My husband and I were in London for 2.5 days in between travel and were looking to stay in a good location as it was my first time visiting. Strand hotel was in such an ideal location, I would stay again if I wanted to be close. Right in the heart of Covent garden, few minutes from Trafalgar Square and 10-15 min walking from river Thames and a view of the London Eye and Big Ben. We were able to see so many attractions in those 2 days. We were by many options for public transportation and also a lot of great restaurants and bars. Our personal favorites Watch House and Marugame Udon.
The room itself was very clean and well prepared. It definitely had everything we needed for a short stay. It was quite a small room so if you’re stay is longer than a couple days and you need to spread out, it might not be for you. The staff were all very nice and accommodating."

"This was a great choice for our first visit to London. 30 minute walk to Buckingham Palace, to Westminster, to St. Paul's Cathedral. For the price ($270 Canadian a night) we were really satisfied. Excellent breakfast for 15 pounds. Rooms are small but renovated and very clean."
"We had a lovely room with a well equipped kitchenette, which we didn’t use staying just one night, it was an unexpected up! Considering we were near the train lines, it was surprisingly quiet so good sound proofing. The only minor thing was no biscuits to go with the tea/coffee! We’d go back again. There’s lots of choice for eating out around too."
