Beautiful hotel great all-inclusive

Posted 07-Feb-2016
We had a large group (8 couples) and this was a great all inclusive. Food was wonderful, service great and plenty of places to sit at the pool and beach. Not ft from the airport and everyone had an amazing time. Would highly recommend Secrets the Vine!

Great Hotel, easy to get too, top notch!

Pros: I would have liked more light in the bathroom to do my make up.
I had stayed at this hotel before and wanted to come back again. It is very well maintained, the staff is outstanding. The facilities are great and the is a great variety of restaurants to choose from. I enjoyed the pool, the beach and the amenities.

Beautiful all inclusive resort!

Posted 25-Jan-2016
Secrets has a beautiful and elegant lobby. Restaurants are clean and well decorated. The food was wonderful. Rooms are spacious and bed is comfortable. Large shower with two showerheads. Pool areas are fantastic and bar service was incredible. Waiter staff was attentive and polite. I would highly recommend.

Nice upscale resort with high amenities

Posted 20-Jan-2016
Pros: The room, the service, the views, the restaurants, the beach.
Cons: The pool areas were all packed - there were literally no seats many times. I heard Sept is a good month to go if you want to have a less packed area.
Location: I would really recommend checking out one of the 'X' places - we went to Xplor and that was one of the funnest places I've been to - amazing cave syst
When we first arrived to the hotel, we noticed they have a ton of staff (all very friendly)! Before we got to the front desk, we were greeted by a gate guard, a valet host, bellman, two interior hostess' (I don't want to say too much because I think some of it is supposed to be a surprise to you, but you will be treated incredibly well). When we got to the front desk, we were explained so many details of what we can look forward to. The bellman took us to our room and explained more details as we walked through the hotel. The restaurants all offer an incredible atmosphere and - I was a bit scared because some people said the food was bad but I thought 95% of it was over the top amazing! The other 5% was okay but everyone has their own taste. Our original room (1708) was a deluxe ocean view room, but it was more like a view of the Sandos hotel building (unattractive) but you could turn your head to the right and see the beautiful blue water or to the left and see the lagoon. The room had 1 small chair at a vanity (I think the room was missing a large chair) but the bathrooms were very unique and attractive. Because the view wasn't quite what I had imagined, seeing all the way down the el Rey strip (and that there was just the 1 seat for two of us) we upgraded (room 2623) and it was well worth it! The view all the way down the el Rey strip and the beach view improved 100x, plus it was a junior suite so it had a couch if we wanted to sit down together. Plus the balcony

Perfect for adults only vacation

Posted 19-Jan-2016
Pros: Staff is very attentive and helpful.
Cons: The doors should be insulated from noise coming from hallway.
Location: it is close to all attractions in cancun hotel zone.
I have stayed in this hotel for 4 nights at 20th floor oceanfront room. Everything was perfect in the hotel except the noise from hallway.. The doors are not well insulated. Pretty much you hear all small noise from hallway.Hotel advertises fully stocked in room mini bar but only soft drinks and beer was offered.
