We checked in at 6:30pm and found out that our room is not ready, so we waited for 40 minutes to have them make our reserved room ready for us. The room was fine but bathroom condition was awful. The shower drain was filled with hairs and I saw couple of cockroaches in the bathroom. One of the staff member told us that there is a dinner buffet or other choices of restaurant where we can walk in and enjoy the dinner. We decided to pick the dinner buffet since we were really hungry but as we reached to the buffet restaurant we found it closed. We inquired from few employees the reason of closure but no one had an idea why the buffet is closed. We went to quite a few restaurants but they are all closed. We finally able to find Lemon Fish restaurant which were open but they had an hour wait. We inquired from the manager the reason of all the restaurants closure on this property and his response was: our resort is vacant more than half and our management cannot afford to have all the restaurants open. The manager was really nice and he arranged a table for us and apologized for the inconvenience. The quality of the food was great but on Friday night they had limited food options.

Property is a little old but well kept and staff were extremely polite and very attentive to guests. The hotel is a little hot in some spot but given it is a tropical scene and design in the interior. Overall would highly recommend this hotel.

The property is amazing, but Expedia ripped us off by putting all of us in one room. I had booked for three adults and almost 13-year-old. We all got thrown into one room, although we paid Double the amount of one single room. You could have easily gotten two rooms in the same price. But because Expedia did not give us the option we ripped off and we were crammed into one small room on our vacation with no room to put our luggage.

This property has been the best of all our stays in Cancun. We have been in Cancun at least 4 times over the last 9 years and this has been the best experience so far. We enjoyed the facilities, view, amenities, and the service we received in our stay. We were particularly impressed with the food options available that were included in our package and how easy it was to just go to o the restaurants without having to do reservations or being put on waitlists. The food was delicious overall and there was a variety even in the main buffet restaurant. Big shout out to the kid’s club staff Gove, Azul, Irlanda, Monse among others that did a great job with all the kids activities. Our daughter enjoyed it so much and was always excited to go back. Overall we had a great experience in this property and we are definitely considering going back in our future. We also thank the restaurant servers for their great service, big shout outs to our top three which were Cynthia from Flora, and Axel & Nathaniel from Sante. Definitely recommend this property for families with children.

I thought this property was very nice. My girlfriend and I enjoyed it a lot. Getting a ride there from the airport and getting a ride back to the airport was super expensive for no reason. it’s only a 15 minute drive from the airport and it was super expensive so be careful about that. The food was good. The hours for their restaurants was weird. Our flight was at 2:35pm and to get to the airport at a decent time, we left at 12. zeither their options for food opened up at 12 or opened at 12:30 which screwed us over for lunch. The bars and pool area was nice. Beach was nice but rough when we went which was fine with us. Their shows at night were eh. We saw one show we really liked and that was it. They were super on-top of cleaning rooms and restocking items. You get coke, sprite, beer, water, chips and other snacks that come with your room. They restock them everyday and they clean the rooms very well. The only problem we had with our rooms was the showerhead. We got sunburnt on our shoulders and the rain shower head shot out hard which caused pain in our shoulders. They have a hand-held head too which was nice. We will definitely come back.

Staff are rude and depressive. Food is absolutely terrible and cold. When we checked out, they wanted us to sign several agreements saying the Hotel wasn't at fault for our early departure. We refused and thus they refused to give our keys or allow us to leave the property. We had to threaten to call the police to get our keys - this is AFTER we paid for the hotel. STAY AWAY!!!

I literally had the worst stay here , while the hotel and food was okay - the tourism agent downstairs made our stay total terrible - from convincing us to get a ticket for a trip that was not suitable for a pregnant woman, Fernanda hid the details of the trip just so she and Mauricio can take our money. I have tried to contact the otium tour for the past week and half for our refund , it’s been different stories and lies . This experience has been terrible , I would not recommend staying just because of the fraudulent tour agency downstairs. Made our trip a night mare ! There are other nice hotels with honest people in Cancun, do not stay here. Mauricio is a blatant liar and fraud !

I wish they will would make better out let’s to charge things, also i was told i would get a lagoon view and we were stuck in the basement area with no credit or anything, other then that the food was good and the service was awesome, I also hurt my finger pretty bad on the sun lounging chairs, they had nothing to support the lift on the back of the chairs to make them sit up and my finger got stuck in the chairs by the pool

Really nice all inclusive hotel, we stayed in the Reserve adults only area and it was nice and peaceful. Daniela (our concierge) was super nice and helpful. We came for our honeymoon, and it was nice! Our room took some time to get ready, but once we were all settled in everything was nice. No one seemed to be expecting tips, but the service was good enough that they deserved it anyways. The onsite restaurants are good, however the food upgrades are quite expensive.

Good stay. Staff very attentive. Big complaint - a large music festival was booked to start Friday. Droves of loud partying teens/20s took over the property starting Thursday aft The reserve was loud and they moved freely between public and private reserve. Friday was a massive inconvenience as it was my last day and I went to the edge of the propriety for quiet. I paid over 4000 for this. Would appreciate compensation. You should have noted the festival. Would have avoided.

The hotel design is beautiful. And service people in the restaurants are very kind and friendly. But concierge was rude and barely spoke English. We checked-in around 9am. I filled out pre-arrival form hoping they will accommodate early check-in but they made all early arrivals wait until 3pm. When I checked-in at 9am the morning concierge told me I’ll have double bed ( I have a toddler and a senior with me). Came back at 3 and the lobby was packed since everybody wanted their room. We got into our room and it had 1 king size bed. Went back explained the whole situation to the concierge and she told me I have to wait for another 2 hours! We were carrying our luggage’s this whole time! Left the luggages at the bell then went to the beach. Got the room around 6pm. The refrigerator was not fully stocked. And the room was full of dust. Under bed, hair drier were disgusting. Towel hanger was about to fall off and the sink was not draining. The entertainment was great however they go until 1am. And my senior mom couldn’t sleep due to the loud sound. My mom left her wallet in her luggage to buy souvenirs for herself and family members. On last day, we found out her money was stolen!!!! The security came, went through all of our stuff got the report and that was it! Beware of thieves! Even though the restaurant staff, design of the hotel and entertainment was great the check in, dirty room and stolen money ruined the whole experience.

Everything was very wonderful and luxurious and all the workers there were excellent. The decor is wonderful, everything is very, very luxurious. The restaurants are excellent. A very wonderful experience. I have a simple suggestion to increase sports activities and increase shopping stores because the stores inside the hotel are ridiculous and their prices are very exaggerated.

Awesome pool. 24 hour coffee bar with pastries. Service around the pool area is amazing. We are frequent travelers and this is the only resort that we went back to 3 times now.

This was my second time staying at this resort and it exceeded every expectation I had. Great restaurants with many food options. Staff is amazing all throughout the resort. Definitely will be going back for a third time. Paradisus is Paradise every time!!

Amazing experience at Paradisus Cancun ! Very attentive staff food was great. Only complaints would be the staff and some of the food at the Italian restaurant was okay and also you could hear the club across the street bumping all night from our room. But the sushi restaurant was soooo delicious as well as the buffet. Great drinks as well. Beach and pool are so fun. Love the DJ and all the events and energy

The property wasn't the cleanest as shown in photos. We were given a room that practically had vomit on the walls in the bathroom that staff might have missed but still very visible. We had a mini fridge that was fullt stocked when we arrived, however, it wasn't refilled unless we asked them to. A few members in my party were missing items that they left in the room, with those items being a gold chain and apple watch. We believe the cleaners stole these items. I don't think we'll be staying here again.
