"Lovely and clean Good breakfast Friendly Food staff"

"The staff here are amazing, so friendly and helpful we’ve stayed here before and weren’t disappointed with most aspects of our stay. Our only disappointment was the ‘bathroom’ in our room. It was too small and therefore very uncomfortable. Previously, we have always had a really nice, comfortable bathroom in our room so this was a big disappointment. Other than that, everything else was very good."

"Stayed in a superior twin room on the 5th floor, which was clean and comfortable, with a walk-in shower (important because I have mobility issues). It was on the small side but not cramped. The decor seemed to be fairly new and in good shape, of a dark gray neutral sort. Staff on check-in were friendly, quick and helpful. It's a massive hotel that takes huge tour groups, so there were several hordes clumped together in the lobby and in the street area outside; there is also no visible place to sit and relax in the lobby, which is designed to get a lot of people through check-in quickly. I was so glad to find there was express checkout! There are several restaurants in the hotel which I didn't try, and lots of restaurants in the immediate area. Very close to everything in Bloomsbury. There was street noise at night but nothing extreme. "

"Nice older hotel with an art deco vibe. Rooms on the smaller side, to be expected given this is a 'vintage' building , but perfectly comfortable and clean. Two restaurants and a bar, one serving Indian style food as well as typical British . At the price, this hotel ticks all the boxes, and the location is great, walkable to Soho, Bloomsbury , British Museum, theatres etc. "

"This entire experience has been full of professionalism, fun, kindness, and genuine connection. Every single staff member I have met went above and beyond to ensure an awesome stay and experience. Safie works at Dessimo. The food was PHEOMENAL. I asked Safie to pick (by surprising me) my entire meal selection for me and each item was delicious. She is so personable, kind, and knowledgeable. The food and service were so great that I went back on my second day, despite only being in London for 3 days. Safie remembered what she ordered for me (to the tee) the day before and gave me another surprise experience that was absolutely incredible. Next: Jordan. Jordan works the bar / serves at Sweeties and makes the most tasty cocktails. Legitimately 12/10. He does it with flair, great energy, and shakers that are totally IG worthy. Last but not least - Chris. Chris oversees operations at Sweeties. He is welcoming, kind, accommodating, and did I say welcome? He’s the reason I went back 3x in a row. He is management material , and such a gem of a human being. I cannot recommend this place enough"
