"We arrived to check in and told we would be staying in the sister hotel over the road . Had no problems with the hotel it was clean safe & quite as we were on the top floor . Considering it was between 2 busy bars we heard no noise at all . Very warm room & plug didn’t work in the bath but for £39 you can’t complain ! We opened the window & had showers . "

"Overnight stay after seeing a band at The Glasshouse. Large, clean, comfortable room. Only complaint was the Uber heavy, Uber warm duvet! "

"Great stay however someone had parked in the space outside our patio so couldn’t use this space for our own stuff. They were noisy when returning to their car at 10pm waking up my son. Maybe could number the spaces for the rooms "

"For the price it was excellent value The heating didn’t work in our room (hot water and shower did work and shower was lovely) but we did have a heater which worked a treat. There was complimentary breakfast bag and free coffee machine in the morning "

"The location was great if you are going to use the bus service to Hadrian’s Wall as you can take it to a stop and walk back to the hotel. The staff were quite friendly and helpful, especially the bar tender! There are lovely and comfortable places to sit and chat or read like the lobby, the library or the cocktail lounge. It is an old hotel, so the floors creak on the second floor. The bed was too soft for my preference, however, that is different for everyone. The only potential downside is...
