The inn has a really comfy cosy atmosphere and we had an amazing view from our room. The breakfast was very generous with great service too. Highly recommend."

Le Petit Chateau & William de Percy

Le Petit Chateau & William de Percy

8/10 Good
"Excellent stay when here for an evening wedding party. Booked a meal ( only had 1 course) for before party, which was excellent, very good service too. Drink prices quite high, but I suppose should be expected as is a wedding venue. Breakfast was nice, but had to ask for extra coffee( for 4) twice before getting. Also had to ask for toast as not offered when taking food orders. Poor selection of fruit available and no Greek yogurt even though on menu. For breakfast servings, May I suggest that you offer filtered coffee instead of that from a commercial coffee machine, which would save time . Would certainly stay again should another wedding invitation, for the venue, be received."

"An enjoyable and relaxed stay. Old property with some interesting rustic features, but the absence of any drawer storage in the room was a problem. Good breakfast. Evenig meal menu was limited, not offering a great choice of normal English fare for an older couple."

The Mill set in stunning rural Northumberland

10/10 Excellent
"The cottage was very clean, cosy and had everything we needed for a weekend away. The beds were all super comfy and there was plenty of outdoor space in the gardens. We made use of the communal tennis court which was a great added bonus. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the Mill House and would absolutely return again. Check in was nice and easy, and the host Joanne was lovey when we needed to communicate. We would definitely recommend."

"Beautiful house in a beautiful location. Beds very comfortable. Everything spotlessly clean. Cooking with the arga was fun and we soon got used to it. We had a Tesco shop delivered to the property but it would have been nice to have basics such as salt and pepper provided but everything else was provided and there were lots of extra plates, cutlery etc."

"This is a little gem of an inn. The drive along the way is picturesque and Otterburn itself is darling. Our host for the Old Post Office was very accommodating. We arrived after the normal check-in time and she was very welcoming. Our room was immaculate and our shower had lots of hot water. Breakfast was excellent, including our coffees (flat white and vanilla latte). We also enjoyed the back patio area with plenty of seating. Definitely recommend this inn!"
