Great central location to visit local sights. Friendly staff, nice breakfast. Rooms were basic but clean & very comfy bed. Beautiful view of fields out of bedroom windows. I’d definitely stay again

Great hotel and friendly staff. Fantastic central location for visiting Bamburgh, Lindisfarne, seahouses and Alnwick. Food was great, especially the breakfasts. Comfortable room overlooking farmland with Bamburgh castle in the distance. We stayed for 3 nights and will definitely come back at some point.

We had a great stay at purdys lodge what a great location for everything to. The staff was very friendly and great service and food. Will definitely be using again. Also took our dogs at no extra charge.

Surprisingly quiet despite being off the A1 the front of the property is a corridor to the rooms which offers sound protection from the A1 . The rooms overlooked a nice field with a view of the sea. The staff were friendly and a decent restaurant on site .
