Checked in by a harassed and unpleasant receptionist, who wouldn't let me get a word in edgeways when asking re pool bookings, over talking me of how this is a terrible and stressful time working there. I felt like I should have been grateful for her giving me the time. Stress...?!? Im an ITU nurse and this was meant to be a well earned break.
Room 18, along the pool corridor smelt badly of damp, the carpet is very dirty and the curtains have black mould on them. I told aforementioned receptionist, who would get back to me - she never did.
This was a break with my teenage daughter, who was upset re our mouldy, smelly room, so I ended up glossing over things for her, so we could get on with our walking break and did not spend any time other than necessary, in our room. I really do not want a response, apologising for not being upto my standard, like other responses... The absence of mould, damp and dirt, should be a given, in any hotel. A disappointing stay.
Other staff were very helpful and pleasant.
