I had a very large, drunk man in his underwear mistakenly unlock and enter my room at around 0600, who --despite my protests and insisting that he was in the wrong room --told me to "shush" as I was being too loud and too annoying, and then he proceeded to crawl into the spare twin bed and go to sleep. Gosh only knows how his room key from his room (711 or 707?) worked to open my door at 709 given mine was locked and I awoke to hear the door mechanism click open given the odd early hour. Very disturbing. I went to reception and reported it, and the front desk agent and night manager responded quickly and went to my room and removed the individual in a very professional and polite manner (they were great), but there was no explanation for how this man was able to access my room with his key, and no one from hotel management even bothered to call me to apologize and follow up during the next 24 hours or even apologize at check out. Perhaps this happens frequently enough at this hotel that the staff and management are used to it? Either way, it was a very disturbing and frightening incident, and I certainly didn't back to sleep that morning or enjoy that part of my stay. Mostly, however, I am extremely disappointed that it was simply ignored/dismissed by hotel management. Certainly not good enough given it is a member of the Hilton chain. Very disappointing.
