Perfectly adequate

Hotel has a great city centre location just opposite the railway station. The staff are friendly and helpful. Our room was quiet but a little on the small side- don't know if that applies to all rooms.Breakfast was a bit chaotic., people milling everywhere with no obvious system.

First I was given unclean room on the second floor.On my arrival the impression I had was not good but after a good night sleep the next day the staff were excellent.

I liked the situation of the hotel just across the road from the rail station.I wasn't impressed with my room, the ceiling above the bed has been repaired to a poor standard, paint emulsion splashed on shower door when closed and floor tile on the entrance when door opened to shower has slight damage.Front entrance door noisey when it opened.

The hotel is just across the road from the Train Station.The catering and bar facilities are adequate and the service friendly.
