Love the place and especially the baths. We have stayed twice -once in a deluxe room and once in a junior suite (Taittinger). Whilst spacious, lovely bath and comfy bed - it was noisy and light which was disappointing and didn't make for a great night's sleep

Almost everything about this hotel is first rate. Lovely exterior, welcoming staff, very clean, well appointed room, superb breakfast. Unfortunately on this occasion I did not sleep well, I didn’t seem to be able to control the temperature of the room adequately…it was too hot which impacted on my quality of sleep. I really like this hotel - I have stayed a number of times- and this was probably a one-off, it will not prevent me from staying again.

Great hotel and brilliant staff. Stayed with our dog so that was convenient. He was not allowed in bistro so we had to eat in the bar that only hd aofas and low tables so not the easiest. Would have been helpful to have some high stools or tables.

A Wonderful Stay – Excellent Value for Money! This was our first stay at Hotel du Vin & Bistro Newcastle, and what a gem it turned out to be! From start to finish, we had a fantastic experience and would have no hesitation whatsoever in returning. The hotel is in an excellent location, making it a perfect base for exploring Newcastle. The staff were exceptionally friendly, welcoming, helpful and professional throughout our stay, which really added to the overall experience. Our room, the Cristal Room, was fantastic. It was incredibly spacious, spotlessly clean and very comfortable, with everything we could have wanted for a relaxing stay. And the bed… absolutely enormous! You could probably fit a whole football team in it! Needless to say, we slept extremely well. Breakfast was also excellent, with a great choice of options to suit every taste and a lovely start to the day. Overall, we thought the hotel offered exceptional value for money and combined comfort, character, great service and a superb location perfectly. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will most certainly be back next time we’re in Newcastle. Highly recommended!
