I did notice a few battle scars in the apartment such as burn rings on the counter tops and table, as well as a repaired tear on the sofa. I felt slightly uncomfortable without coasters to put on the coffee table under my hot mug but maybe I didn't find them. I didn’t expect much but was pleasantly surprised - it’s great! The apartments are spacious, clean, comfortable and provisioned with everything we could think of needing. Staff were excellent - friendly, flexible and helpful. The property’s location is also ideal - just minutes walk from pretty much anything in Newcastle - and in particular nestled in the pink lane area which features some quirky cafes, pubs and restaurants- and of course the central station is 3 mins away. Only downside was there was some renovations ongoing on the exterior which were a bit noisy during the day - but this is temporary.
