Due to unforeseen illness (evidence provided to the hotel of hospital records), we didn’t stay. Tried to call the hotel - no answer. Contacted them via Expedia, they read the message but didn’t reply. Contacted them via Expedia live chat who requested a refund or to be able to pick a different date. Even Expedia tried to ring them while I was on live chat, couldn’t get through so had to email.
Hotel refused both a refund or alternative date. Not even a goodwill gesture or voucher !
They have had £102 for nothing and despite being shown evidence of a hospital stay, were not accommodating in the slightest. Won’t be using them or Expedia again.
