"I thought the food was great. Even had Foursquare rum, in the bar. Staff was very friendly and helpful, offered many recommendations for beaches and jet ski options. Swim with the Dolphins, is 5 min drive. Only thing i wasnt a fan of, was the tide would go out around 4pm, until 9pm. Leaving a not so great smell during that time. Obviously nothing they can do,but was mot great. Whwn tide was in,was very nice. The pier is nice at night toi."

"This is a nice little group of older buildings right on Little Torch Key. Not too fancy but you have a pool, some little piers and even a boat launch. This is not ocean it's water between keys so no surf and mostly coral but a little sand on their beach for getting feet wet. Staff is friendly, they have laundry and a nice little continental breakfast with fresh fruit. Great location for seeing other keys (26 mi to key west) If you really want a beach just 5 miles to one at a state partk and nice...

If you want to throw fishing into the mix, head for the island of Islamorada instead, which has its own hiking and diving haven in the form of Long Key State Park, plus some of the best bonefishing in the Keys. For cultural sites and lively bars, meanwhile, look for two-star hotels in Key West.
