A complete complex with all amenities on site. Great location being close to Miami and Key West at the same time. The room we had was a bit dated and the AC unit was noisy but the ocean view made up for this.
The bathroom in the room was no good, specifically the toilet flush was terrible, no air conditioning in the restroom, that was the only negative point.
The hotel is ok. We were in the 3 story building and there is not an elevator so we had to lug all of our luggage up 6 sets of stairs. There was some type of motorcycle convention and they had all of the parking spots blocked off so that was a real pain. The pool is nice and there is a bar in the ...
Lovely position with good pools and plenty of sun beds. Room was comfortable, with good screened area and excellent bed. Only slight downside was bathroom, not luxurious!
Children will love Florida Keys, a constantly exciting region packed with family-friendly hotels ready to welcome guests of all ages. Family-friendly accommodation all along the length of the Florida Keys welcomes children and adults alike.
Choose a family-friend apartment hotel for a spacious living area so the whole family can feel at home together. Alternatively, pick a resort with outdoor pool or private beach, so there is never the chance of children getting bored in the hotel.
If you are keen for some adults-only relaxation in the Florida Keys, look for a resort that offers childcare services. Fun activities can be arranged for the children while you unwind at a poolside bar or explore attractions in the town. Reunite with children for a family-friendly meal or a barbecue at an outdoor grill.
Children and adults can both learn new skills during a holiday in Florida Keys by making the most of the coastal location. Hire out kayaks and go for a paddle in the water. While kayaking on the open ocean is undoubtedly thrilling, the mangrove swamps of John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park make for a particularly atmospheric family-friendly excursion.
Ask at your hotel about scuba-diving lessons. First-timers can try out the sport in tanks before heading to an open-water dive. Bring a waterproof camera and you could get shots of sea turtles, barracudas and stingrays swimming through the water.
Children can also come face to face with the local wildlife on dry land too. The Key West Aquarium offers touch tanks and feeding sessions where kids can learn about the creatures they’ve seen. Different tanks throughout the aquarium host turtles, alligators, jellyfish and sharks.
In the south of the city, the Key West Butterfly and Nature Conservatory houses hundreds of delicate, colourful insects and tropical birds in a carefully controlled microclimate.
Museums dedicated to shipwrecks and unusual natural phenomena further add to the appeal of Florida Keys as a family destination. Bring your children to experience this beautiful region and its numerous family-friendly hotels and attractions.
