"Comfortable room, great location"
Last time we went to Key West, we went to a nice resort, but it was so far from everything. This time, we spent a little more and got a place in the heart of Old Town, and man, did it make a HUGE difference in our experience. Pretty much anything we wanted to do was 5-10 minutes walk from the room (except the beach, that was sort of a haul at about 20 minutes, but let's be honest, Key West's beaches are meh). The room itself was great, not huge but it was sufficient, and made a great home base to go to to change clothes, get a quick nap, etc., during our breaks in partying. I don't remember it being noisy at night -- we actually were reminded by a member of the staff as we were hanging out by the pool one night that "quiet time" was after 10pm (understandably), and even then, the reminder was made in a nice way.
We stayed in two rooms as a group -- honeymoon room and poolside room. The honeymoon room is actually across the street from the main building. Both rooms were very nice. The daily poolside breakfast was great, really hit the spot after sleeping off the previous night's festivities.
