"From the moment we arrived we were welcomed into the B&B and offered refreshment after a long journey. The rooms were immaculate and the breakfast choices were superb. Best cooked breakfast I have had in a long time. The host was very knowledgeable about the area and after we had attended a wedding ensured there was fresh milk for us to make a drink when we got back late in the evening. Thoroughly recommend. "We really enjoyed our three days here. Everyone was very friendly and the hotel is charming and quirky. The weather was very hot, so the addition of two sturdy portable fans was very welcome. We were in a lovely attic conversion and could see the countryside around for miles. Although we were at the top of the building, the water pressure was good and we could all have showers to cool off without any problems - plenty of hot water, too - and the toiletries smelled gorgeous. Breakfast cooked to order with fresh local produce and plenty of choice. Even though the hotel seemed fairly full there was no delay at all, but we never felt rushed or hurried either. We were lucky enough to be able to leave our car in the hotel car park throughout our stay - parking is limited, but we could see a public car park nearby - as there are good bus services to the neighbouring towns we wished to visit (Hereford and Monmouth).
