Wonderful!
Church House is a lovely, lovely place. We stayed here with our son, who was walking the Offa's Dyke Walk. Church House is a beautiful period building with, I think, only two guest rooms. It is not a hotel, but rather a very upmarket B&B. It’s a little like staying with friends. We were greeted with homemade lemon drizzle cake, tea and a roaring fire - perfect for an Autumn day. We went to The Stagg and nearby Titley for dinner (which I would also recommend). We all slept very well, and were treated to a delicious home cooked breakfast. After, Andrew, our host, helped me take my car to end of the days walk, at Knighton and then return me to Kington to start the walk. It’s a fabulous place that I would totally recommend.

Lovely Place to Stay
I had a great time during my stay at Church House. The room was nice and well made up, as the was rest of the house. It was full of charm and character and the garden was absolutely splendid. The house is clean and tidy and truly felt like a home. Both Andrew and Liz were extremely friendly and accommodating. They both went above and beyond the call of duty and even leant me a tie for the wedding I was there to attend when I realised I'd forgotten mine at home. The breakfast was exactly what I wanted and I can't praise the homemade pink gooseberry jam enough. I would recommend Church House to anyone staying in Kington.

Superb house, set in beautiful gardens near to the centre of the town. The owner/host looked after us well and provided us with a delicious breakfast. This is a B&B not a hotel, you are living in someone’s home and they make you feel very welcome. We loved the local information provided, very useful. Thank you.

Liz and Andrew were great and made us very welcome. Nothing was too much trouble. .. blazing fire on arrival with tea and cake and comfy bed and a lovely breakfast Also washed our wet and muddy clothes. All received with gratitude after a long day hiking on Offas Dyke. Would recommend a stay here.

A warm friendly welcome together with tea and cake - what could be better? A nice quiet setting within a short walk to the Village where there are a few shops, takeaways and quite a few Public houses. Our Twin Bed room was very cosy and comfortable - even had an electric blanket! A full and varied excellent Breakfast was just the ticket to start the day. My brother and I would not hesitate in returning again as we were made to feel very welcome. 10 out of 10!!!
