"We stayed here for 3 nights in the basic economy room. Overall we enjoyed our stay. The staff allowed luggage drop off early as our flight landed at 8am. We were able to check in early 2:30pm, but got charged 5 euro for it.. when check in was 3:00pm. Walkable to many pubs and tube stations. Rooms are very small with little walkable room in the room. Washroom was very small (toilet in the shower). Bed was comfortable, hard pillows. Very loud as you hear people climbing up and down the stairs, no...

"I was looking for a reasonably priced (for London) family room within walking distance of the US Embassy, but also close enough to attractions north of the Thames. The Carlton fit that bill. Its furnishings are a bit dated, but the family room we had was perfect for three people to lay their heads for a night. It's a five minute walk to Pimlico tube station, which gets you to Victoria and onwards easily. The area was super quiet at night--and that's with the window open. Staff interaction...

"Front desk person was super-helpful and accommodating when I requested a change to my room. I really appreciated that. Breakfast staff were rude and kicking people out though. Yes, breakfast ends at a cwrtain time but if people are still eating what they have already picked up, give them a chance to finish their food."
