This was one of the very best experiences I have ever had staying in a luxury hotel...something that I don't do that often. I was with my son who had never been to London before and this turned out to be a highlight of the trip. Everything about the hotel was absolute perfection. The room was flawless, the staff was delightful, and the overall atmosphere was great fun.
Rather than just being a nice hotel, the experience of staying here was like experiencing the best of classic England. We felt welcome and appreciated in every way possible.
Yes, it is expensive, but without question worth every penny.
I moved over to Claridges from another London Hotel that I didn't like. I was not disappointed. The staff was great, my room was really large for London and the location made many popular parts of London in walking distance. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.
Note to Hotel staff....the only fault I found was the lighting was awfully low to read in bed. You might want to put in stronger bulbs.
Hotel was excellently located in Mayfair and only a short walk (5 mins)to Green Park Tube Station.
Hotel room was very modern with standard amenities (hairdrier, tea/coffee etc). Only downside to the room was that the double bed had been converted by pushing 2 singles together.

"Luxurious centralised hotel for shops & theatre."
Not knowing London particularly well and travelling on my own with a teenager, I wanted a risk free, luxurious and secure hotel to stay in. Our plans included touring all the high street shops, Phantom at her Majestys Theatre & V&A exhibition. The hotel was absolutely perfectly situated and well worth paying the extra for, for added peace of mind. My 2nd visit & plan to return!!

The hotel is in a great location by parks, transportation, and many points of interest. It was beautifully decorated with an elegant English charm. The hotel restaurant served delicious food. The staff was very attentive and we really enjoyed our stay there.
Famous for its hotels, Mayfair holds London's most expensive homes and, on Bond Street, its most expensive shops. But the tucked-away pubs, restaurants, and shops of atmospheric Shepherd Market offer affordable local colour, too. Sandwiched between several main roads, Marylebone has a village atmosphere and a charming High Street. Nearby attractions include Madame Tussaud's and the Georgian splendours of Regent's Park, including London Zoo.
