“NOT IMPRESSED”
DIRTY TOWELS LEFT IN BATHROOM , NOT RIGHT AMOUNT OF IN ROOM CROCKERY .NOISY NEIGHBOURS, DRAUGHTY WINDOWS,
“Okay place to stay”
Location is convenient. Easy to walk or take the tube from Paddington Station. Right across the street from Kensington Park, so great for walking. Lots of neighborhood grocery, restaurants, pubs, etc within several blocks. Room was very cramped, but it worked for two small adults. I wouldn't book here if you were above average height and weight. Elevator was nice to have. Small fridge was a blessing as we could keep snacks, breakfast and drinks on hand. The only downside no free WiFi
“Very suitable for our short break in London”
This hotel was more than adequate for our short break in London. Easy to get to from Liverpool Street on the Central line, and just a 1 minute walk from the Queensway tube stop. The room was well made up and clean, would have been nice to have a window but I guess that's the luck of the draw. Only downside is that they have nowhere to leave bags for the day after checkout. We weren't sure where we could leave them which could have caused a headache, but in the end wasn't an issue.
“Adequate”
The Central Park Hotel is in an excellent location. The lobby is contemporary and bright. The rooms, however are only adequate. The rooms and bathrooms are very small and our room smelled strongly like smoke though it was a non-smoking room. The bed was comfortable with new, clean linens but the rest of the room's decor was outdated and old. Overall this hotel is a good value but visitors should not expect more than adequate rooms.
“MORE THAN ADEQUATE for the NEED AT THE TIME”
For the need required which was a one night stay-over to attend a business meeting in London & fly home the next day, the hotel was a most suitable option. No unnecessary extras were needed We shall be happy to use the venue again for ourselves as well as candidates travelling in to meet us
“Good Value”
Reasonable price for a London Hotel, and ten times better than the previous hotel I stayed at. Would stay again.
“Much Better options out there.”
Staying in central London is not cheap, but we were very unhappy with this hotel. It is the worst hotel we've ever stayed in and wasn't worth what we paid. One main problem was the bed. Its hard to enjoy your visit to London when your bed is terrible. I'm not a picky person, but I couldn't sleep in the cheap, old beds provided. I asked hotel staff for help on 2 different occasions and they were no help at all. The "Breakfast" was bread and cereal- no fruit, yogurt, or anything else that might be healthy- unless you want to pay extra. KEEP LOOKING there are 43 better options out there.
“Good value, great location”
Its got the basic necessities in the room which is spacious enough. Its clean, attached bathrooms, the basic minimum that you can expect from 5 star hotel rooms. We didn't use facilities, didn't think it had any, the aircon or heater we didn't use as it was cool in summer. They make up the rooms, clean and safe, we didn't lose anything. Service was perfunctory at the front desk. Concierge had nowhere to keep luggage which was inconvenient, perhaps the only problem. Location is next to Queensway and Bayswater underground which is convenient and across the road from Kensington Gardens. We had direct trains to most places we wanted to go. As well as lots of eating places around. Overall we felt it was good value for money especially in London, in summer. A bit like Comfort Inns in the US.
“You Get What You Pay For”
Situated right by Hyde Park. Not a bad location but if you are staying out late you have to invest in a cab to get home because the tube closes. Originally they told us the breakfast was included but when we went down to eat they tried to charge us. You get what you pay for.
