"The accommodations were excellent and the staff at the front desk, especially Daniel and the bellman, especially Tomas made our stay amazing. Timothy in the Thames room for tea was fantastic. However, the housekeeping got a little creepy as all of our stuff got touched, moved every time they came in. The servers in the River were rude, obnoxious and over the top in waiting on us. "Beautiful property however the room they put us in originally was DRAMATICALLY different than the pictures. We asked to be changed and they did so however we weren’t in our room until after 4:30pm. I dined at the restaurant and mentioned the dining discount. They couldn’t apply it and said it would be resolved at checkout. It wasn’t. Nice property but next time I’ll book direct so the quality of the room and service are matched. Would definitely stay again and location can’t be beat! "

"Staff are very accommodating. The hotel is older. This meant no outlets for technology such as USB for charging There was one outlet for the entire space over the desk. This meant using the hair dryer in the sleeping area and ironing in that same area. The rooms were very clean with plenty of towels. Conveniently located near everything. There was construction near the building where we were located which started very early and was disruptive to sleep. "

The lovely receptionist upgraded my room close to their garden as my dog was staying with me - dog bed and bowl ready for us in the room. "The staff at reception were lovely, my room was very cute as I stayed in a single, it had everything I needed. Everything seemed spotless until I lifted the toilet seat and there was a pubic hair there. There were also only two tiny cartons of UHT milk. There was a beeping noise all night coming from somewhere, I can sleep through anything so this didn't actually bother me but I can imagine it would others.
