Absolutely Perfect!

"This was a last minute booking for our family of 4 attending an event in Cardiff. This is possibly one of the nicest rooms I've ever stayed in. The family room is actually made up of 3 large rooms. A living room, bedrom, and bathroom. The living room contains a large sofa which is also a double sofa bed. Oddly, there is no TV. This didn't bother us, but some might expect one. The bedroom contains a king sized double bed which was extremely comfortable, and a large walk-in wardrobe. The very large bathroom had no bath, but a very large walk-in wet room style shower which we preferred to a bath. Tea/coffee and other facilities can be found in a shared kitchen area just outside the room. Still and sparkling bottled water is provided in the room. Decor appeared luxurious and in perfect condition. The room was absolutely immaculately clean akin to a brand new show home. The view from the windows was pleasant over the quiet village with field afar and the neighbouring churchyard. We woke to the sound of lambs bleeting and birds singing. The landlord was very friendly and welcoming. The private carpark is large with plenty of spaces. "

Aviod this property and Travelnest

"Firstly, I missed the firts night because of car trouble, I let the host know (although I think I was communicating with Travelnest) got there second day, the place was filthy, looked like someone had literally just left - dirty floors, leaves trodden into the carpet, dead bugs and rubbish in two cupboards, and the worst - mould in the fridge - on all the shelves. I let the Manor know, they sent someone down, when we returned only the fridge was cleaned. We decided we really were not comfortable staying there so left. I told travelnest when I got back home. After a few emails, me requesting part refund, I was refused. O ne email saying the host had declined a refund, when I argued back a different person emailed saying Travelnest had refused a refund. As Travelnest said they manage the property for the host, clearly everything was down to them. Also there was no wifi at all, it says there is, and login details at the property but it is not registed . Avoid this and Travelnest, wherever you see them advertising."

"It was a great stay! I wasn't expecting much because of the price but the room was modern, clean and comfortable. The bathroom was clean but the shower wasn't great. The restaurant attached to the hotel wasn't the nicest decor but the staff were great and the food was delicious! I'd definitely stay there again if I was in the area. thanks!"
