"I recently stayed at Iberostar Selection Riviera Cancun, and it lived up to the hype! Less than a year old, the resort is modern, clean, and well maintained. Smaller, easy to navigate, and relaxing. 💰 Value: The price was reasonable; pool-view rooms are standard with no upcharge. I stayed in a one-bedroom suite with a king bed and loved it. 🏖️ Beach: You can access the beach from the resort, but it’s VERY small and not really walkable. Keep this in mind if the beach is your priority. 🍽️ Dining: There are Italian, Mexican, Spanish and Caribbean restaurants, plus a pizzeria and buffet. Specialty restaurants aren’t open daily, so check the schedule. No reservations are accepted; seating is first come, first served. 👏 Service: The staff was fantastic! Shoutout to Ceidi, who helped me find another restaurant when La Brisa had an hour wait and followed up to make sure I was okay. Mario, my cabana server, was equally amazing—attentive and kept my drinks and water flowing. They understood the assignment! 😂 🎶 Atmosphere: I visited during off-season, so it was quiet and not at full capacity. Daily activities and evening entertainment continued, with few kids. One area for improvement is the lighting. Pathways and stairwells were minimal at night. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay. Great value, beautiful property, and modern rooms, plus excellent service and a peaceful atmosphere. I’d absolutely return and recommend it! 🌴☀️🍹"

"Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. The resort is beautiful, very well maintained, and clean. Fresh towels are available everywhere, and the pools were especially clean with noticeably good water quality. The Kids Club was a huge plus, although activities can become repetitive during a week-long stay, and on some days it closes around 5 pm. The arcade was another favorite for my kids. It is mainly for teenagers but has family hours (1–2 pm and 6–7:30 pm); we just wished there were more family times. There are some great activities such as salsa making and art classes, but spaces are very limited (often around 15 people), so you need to find the entertainment team early to sign up. Scheduled activities also didn’t always start on time. We enjoyed the evening shows and music, although we would have liked a little more variety. Food was decent, with a buffet for all three meals, pizza/burgers at lunch, and specialty restaurants in the evening that require reservations. Bars are everywhere, and there are shops/pharmacy on site, although prices are typical resort prices. The spa is extra. We visited at the end of August, so it was very hot, but the AC indoors and in our room worked perfectly. Overall, a very enjoyable family stay with just a few areas that could be improved."

"The rooms were clean and the staff is helpful. Just lack of AC in certain areas like couple of the restaurants made it hard to stay on and enjoy the food. Need more elevators as it has only one and escalators."

"A Truly Unforgettable Experience! Secrets was nothing short of spectacular from beginning to end. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with genuine warmth, exceptional hospitality, and an impressive level of attention to detail that immediately made us feel special. The resort itself is absolutely breathtaking—elegant, luxurious, beautifully maintained, and incredibly relaxing. Our room was immaculate, spacious, beautifully appointed, and extremely comfortable. Every detail felt thoughtfully designed to create a true luxury experience. The staff deserves special recognition. Everyone we encountered was gracious, attentive, professional, and genuinely eager to make our stay memorable. They consistently went above and beyond to accommodate our requests, and nothing ever felt like too much trouble. Their warmth and hospitality truly elevated our entire vacation. And the food was phenomenal! The quality, presentation, variety, and flavors exceeded our expectations. From breakfast to dinner, every meal felt like an experience of its own. The restaurants were beautiful, the service was impeccable, and we were continuously impressed by the culinary offerings throughout the resort. What stood out most was the resort’s commitment to making guests feel completely pampered and cared for.
