"This hotel is an excellent location for Central London. It was a couple of minutes walk from Tottenham Court Road underground Station. The foyer was lovely and I liked that you could check yourself in. The lift was so slow, we ended up walking up the stairs to get to our floor. All the corridors look the same and there wasn't too much in the way of signs to point you in the right direction. The room was OK, it could definitely do with a revamp it felt a bit drab. The beds were comfy but only had 1 pillow on each bed, when we asked for more pillows there were none to be found. How can a hotel not have extra pillows. The window had a venetian blind on the inside which you couldn't get to so it was open all night, letting in the light from the street lights. There were no plug sockets by the beds. Everything just felt very dated."

"Wonderful Hotel on Kensington High Street next to the Palace and Gardens. Comfortable, clean and convenient with exemplary courteous staff this is by far our favourite London Hotel. There is a quiet confidence in delivering a first class experience, that only works when there is total team commitment. The Royal Garden Hotel has a team that provides an exceptional outcome every time which is why we return again and again. From reception to housekeeping , the restaurants and piano bar(try the cocktails) everyone pulls together 'on brand'. A must try."

"We contacted the hotel prior to arrival due to concerns regarding negative reviews. They assured us that room wouldn’t be problematic. Upon check in, one member was rude and repeatedly said she didn’t want to know about tour concerns or email exchange. If you arrive early you pay additional fees, if you don’t pay them and prefer to leave your luggage, you pay additional fees. Check out time is also early, I think they said 10am. Room wasn’t the cleanest. Location is good."
