"We had a good time at the hotel. We basically used it just to sleep. The room was comfortable. We had a family room. The bathroom and room were clean. It would be nice if the room had hanging hooks in the bathroom and room. They offered daily cleaning which is what we wanted. The staff were friendly and courteous. We asked for extra rack for the luggage and towels and they provided without problem. Noose level was good even thought we were next to the kitchen. Temperature was good and we were able to adjust it to our liking. Very close to Victoria Station. It was easy to get anywhere. Grocery and convenience stores were located close to the hotel too. Overall very happy. We would stay again!"

"The room was clean and had a good view (which was an upgrade). The only two minor issues were the room was not as sound proof as expected (could hear people walking along the corridor) and you could hear the toilet refilling which took about 5 minutes for some reason. The breakfast options were excellent as was the location for where we needed to be. We never go chance to try the bar or gym etc, but the hotel was certainly clean and tidy."

"Stayed 3 nights so it’s ok for a short trip. But don’t recommend for longer stays. Pros: close to Victoria Station and Hop on/Hop off Tours. Breakfast was £11 but fairly good with plenty of options. Clean room. Cons: Hard beds, hard pillows, windows are drafty and outside noise is very loud. Trains were so loud and even rumbled the bed at times. Rooms are quite small and no bathroom toiletries or even a wash cloth provided. Too many homeless around low to no lighting makes the area feel unsafe at night. "

"I arrived into London on an early flight so went straight to the hotel where I was told my room was ready. Then I was told that if I wanted to check-in I would have to pay an additional £55! I went to work and returned at 4pm and check-in was an absolute disaster - I was passed between 3 different receptionists. I eventually got to my room at 4.45pm. Have been using this hotel for almost 20 years and every year the service level declines which is so disappointing!"

"We booked this hotel based on the wonderful description and photographs advertised on their website for our 30th Wedding Anniversary. WE WERE BITTERLY DISAAPOINTED. Firstly, we were warmly welcomed and allowed to access our room earlier than expected. The receptionist asked for payment which we were sure we had already paid via Hotels.com? We were looking forward to booking dinner that Friday evening but were told that the restaurant shuts at 3pm. That was the first disappointment. We later managed to locate an available restaurant along the Kings Road although many were already fully booked. That evening we came back to spend time in their lounge and bar. When we asked the receptionist where we should be heading, she informed us that there wasn't a bar or a lounge for guests staying at their hotel, despite advertising a stunning bar on their website! Apparently, the bar/lounge had been shut for a year and still, this is shown as a facility on their website. We find this an appalling and totally misleading marketing strategy which we feel needs to taken further. With regard to our payment; we were able to confirm with Sloane Place that we already paid for hotel via Hotel.com 6 weeks prior. Despite several reassurances, we have yet to receive a refund for the duplicate payment. We feel absolutely MIS-SOLD and this one night stay ruined what should have been a wonderful celebration in a top class hotel."
