"Lovely stay in the hotel. Very clean and within walking distance of lots of bars and restaurant's. Would stay here again and recommend this hotel."

Royal Station Hotel

"My single room was excellent value. I was fine walking up the final flight of stairs but thought that the lack of complete lift access should have been pointed out. With the windows open it was not too hot. I had a good view from the very top of the hotel towards Gateshead. There was not much noisy from the railway during the night. The bed was comfortable. In future I will be booking directly as the hotel no longer included swimming pool access in third party bookings."

All the staff were exceptionally polite and helpful and attentive, without being intrusive either. Everything in the hotel was pristine. I can genuinely say it was perfect."
