"Nice hotel 15 minutes from city centre"
Good hotel with friendly staff..had room on 1st floor facing busy road/poor sound-proofing to windows & kept awake by traffic noise..main concern was breakfast - not enough space & hot food not topped up when empty-leaving one diner irate.i enjoyed mine.2 things to sort out otherwise excellent.

"Great hotel in a lively area"
We only needed a one night stay, but we were made to feel very welcome by the friendly and very helpful staff. I make the Hotel staff down to 4 because of one manager who insisted on making the receptionist check us out when it would have been easier and quicker for him to do it. However the receptionist at check out was wonderful. It was a quiet Saturday night that we stayed and the late duty manager did everything he could to make our welcome and stay as comfortable as possible. We had a great room on the first floor overlooking the small park area. Cleanliness was spot-on, the bed was a little soft (reason for 4 mark for comfort), but they use those wonderful continental duvets that are thin but really warm and cosy. I would buy one of them if I could find a retailer that sells them. One down side for facilities was the lack of parking area at the hotel, but that was made up for by the hotel providing a parking permit for parking in the side street. Overall, great stay in a lovely hotel.
