Good hotel with friendly staff..had room on 1st floor facing busy road/poor sound-proofing to windows & kept awake by traffic noise..main concern was breakfast - not enough space & hot food not topped up when empty-leaving one diner irate.i enjoyed mine.2 things to sort out otherwise excellent.

Best Western New Kent Hotel

Osborne Road Jesmond, Newcastle-upon-Tyne - Map

perfectly acceptable hotel for a business stay situated far enough away from the popular Osbourne Road party pubs so as not to be affected by the noise, but close enough to it if that's the reason your going, room was exceptionally clean bed was very comfy, décor in parts of the hotel was a little tired and in need of a spruce up, all in all good value

"Sea front hotel"
The hotel room was very clean and warm, but on this occasion found the noise levels high. Our room overlooks the sea which we love but underneath us is the bar and reception entrance,it's usually reasonable as we have stayed here before, but there were a couple of wedding receptions until late making it hard to sleep.Having said that we would stay there again.

"Spacious Rooms with Superior Kingsize Beds"
On arriving to the hotel, we were greeted by the receptionist who was extremely helpful and co-opaxerative. We had arranged for 3 persons to stay for 2 nights, but the other person cancelled at the last minute. The Recieptist went out of her way to show us 3 rooms currently vacant, in order for us to choose from. Which we did. HIGHLY RECOMEND THIS HOTEL, but WITH IT'S FRIENDLY & PROFESSIONAL STAFF.,
