"The hotel was away from Newcastle city centre; however, there was public transit nearby. The location is quiet. My room had plenty of space and was very comfortable. There is a bar on-site, yet it is a relatively short walk to Gateshead village where there are plenty of pubs and eating locations."

"Room and hotel dated but clean. Pillows (one each) extremely hard and uncomfortable. Mattress hard but ok. Didn't get round to using pool or spa facilities, which do cost extra. Staff friendly and helpful. Booked room only so can't comment on breakfast, but evening meal was very tasty and good portions. Staff very knowledgeable about allergens. Overall cheap, cheerful and would stay again."

"Hotel was spotless and well maintained. View from the room was stunning. Great pool and facilities. Only minor issue was air conditioning, was loud but not cooling. Was manageable in a warm October but in the summer this would be an issue."
