7.6/10 Good! (295 reviews)
This is more like a hostal than a hotel in feel. It is basic, there is no one there outside of 10am-10pm. If you stay when the normal rate around £70 applies it is fair for what you get. We were there on Great North Run weekend when all prices in the city were hugely inflated and paid £320. I appreciate they need to make hay while the sun shines but this was way over the top for the accommodation.

7/10 Good! (6 reviews)
Great location, affordable apartment for a large group. Metro link directly outside the door to connect you to Newcastle. Apartment in great condition and would recommend this place. Check in was difficult as you need to communicate with host over phone to retrieve the code to access the key but apart from that it was great. Security deposit usually scares me from booking with places as i have been scammed before but rest assured there is no scamming here, with the host very kind when spoke on the phone.

8/10 Very good! (501 reviews)
The facilities weren’t great. Having to pay to store luggage at accomodation that you have paid feels a bit like a rip-off. Rooms were cramped, with little privacy and a bathroom that was tiny and dirty. Staff were nice enough, and the free coffee was decent
