"Breakfast not as good as previous visits, much less choice and lower quality than previous visits ie no healthy cereal option such as bran flakes/ fruit n fibre/muesli, only two sweet bakery options, no mixed berry prepped fruit fur yoghurt etc. Room clean, but dated and at double the price of a more spacious, comfortable, modern Premier Inn room. Stand friendly and welcoming. Hotel well located for local amenities and good transport links "

"Right, let me start with it was a single night and a place to put our head down at the endbof a great night at the Empire. Good Points:- Great location, fantastic local shops and restaurants. The staff were welcoming and friendly. Downside :- We didnt stay in the Saphire but moved to the Pearl hotel. The room was tired, carpet well worn and stained. The bathroom looked clean until you noticed the mould on the ceiling and walls... didnt stop us using the facilities though. The bedding was clean but the mattresses were stained ( Checked after reading previous reviews online :/ )"

"Upon arrival there was no soao, shampoo (sink/shower) all bottles were empty and towels only for 2 people not for 3….reception however fixed it and next day all was in order and room spotlessly ckean sadly the following day housekeeping did not ckean very well…hotel as such is amazing in great and very convenient location so will definitely return as most staff is amazing and very helpful and breakfast also fantastic "

"The hotel is undergoing major refurbishment which is not advertised. There is no signage to redirect guests to Reception which is in the other building. Drilling and hammering began just after 9am on Friday and Saturday morning. Reception did not answer the phone when I tried to complain. At check out on Sunday morning staff did not ask if we had enjoyed our stay and when I said I wanted to complain the staff member did not show any interest. Carried our bags to the other hotel to check out and then had to take them back to where we started to leave them in the luggage room. Then had to get a member of staff to come back again when we wanted to get them back. Really disappointed as we have stayed here many times before but will think twice about booking again. "

"Clean rooms. Friendly staff. The rooms were extremely tiny in typical London fashion. Great location for events at the Olympia. "

"This is a nice modern hotel with lovely facilities, but badly let down by the technology not working (at least for the suite I was given). Despite turning the air on to the coldest possible setting in both rooms, the suite was incredibly hot. Not possible to open windows as they were locked shut. I got hardly any sleep as a result. The electronically-controlled shower was also hard to keep at any consistent temperature. The suite was huge and lovely but the main thing I really needed was a comfortable sleep"
