"Good place to stay"
Very pleasant hotel in a good location just across from a beautiful park. We had some difficulty finding the hotel as there was limited information on how to get there. we found later that the hotel provides a shuttle bus from Shinjuku Station. Also we later found that there was a much closer station to the hotel on the O line, Nishi-shinjuku-gochome,within walking distance and far less chaotic than the main Shinjuku Station

"Local feel in central location"
Found this hotel difficult to find in the dark (signs small and biggest one on the top floor) - however, friendly local helped. Located next to a small local square (older women playing croquet and the local kindergarten brought their yellow-hatted toddlers there) and also two small, well-kept cemeteries. The tower blocks of the Government area were a block away and Shinjuki station and its lights 2 blocks. Small restaurants on every single corner - udon, Chinese, Italian, kobe beef and a sashimi restaurant which was always packed. We loved it all - economical and well-situated on Shinkjuku West exit side

"Best staff in the world, perfect location, cafe"
First the staff here is amazing, unbelievably kind and helpful. As an american who doesnt speak any Japanese this place is perfect because everyone here speaks english. They made me feel at home truly 5 star service. They also helped me find my way around and translated for me many things. I originally was going to stay 5 days but i extended it another 5. Less than 1 block away is a station that has a 1 minute ride to the massive shinjuku station which takes anywhere. Amazing location and its just outside the big city in the quaint and cozy town of hatagaya. The 24 hour cafe is really good to its so convienient and the rooms are cozy and clean. I highly recommend this place it should have a 5 star rating.

"Good, but have to know what you're getting into"
Very convenient location in the heart of Shinjuku. 3 minute walk to JR Shin-Okubo station. If you're used to sleeping on mattresses, you have to understand that sleeping on tatami mats (with a futon) will take adjusting to. Every reasonably priced hotel in Tokyo will be rather small, but the bathroom seemed especially so. Having said that, it is good for those wanting an affordable, convenient, and clean place to stay.

"Good value"
The room is small but the hotel is new ad modern and clean and in a great location. For a reasonable fee you can get a ticket to have breakfast at the restaurant downstairs - this is a serious deluxe all you can eat restaurant with both Western and Japanese buffet. Yum! Keep in mind that other hotels in the Daiwa Roynet Hotel chain are totally different and are sometimes of a much lower level, but this one in Ginza is very cool.

"Nice convenient hotel in Hamamatsucho"
We stayed at Hotel MyStays Hamamatsucho on our final day of our recent trip to Japan (the 2nd time we stayed there). We arrived before the check in time of the hotel and left our luggage with the reception staffs as our room was not ready. We were pleasantly surprised when we came back later after some last minute shopping to find that the staffs have our room ready and our luggage waiting for us in our room. Such good service! The staffs speak good English and were very polite and helpful. Our queen room was clean, well equipped and spacious for the price... excellent value for money. It's also just 17 minutes away to Haneda Airport via Monorail (express) from the nearby Hamamatsucho JR station.
