"The hotel in a very centrai location, about 3-5 th"
The hotel is in a very central location about 3-5 minutes away from Akasaka-mitsuke station. The staff is very helpful, although the english knowledge vary a little with the person they are all very kind and helpful. The hotel itself is everything you read about and more! The capsules can seem a little frightening for foreigners reading about them, but really, they are huge! I can stretch my arms completely to the sides, and my legs can almost stretch out completely when measuring the height (I am 170 cm). The lockerrooms you get (with a key) are to tiny for a suitcase, but can fit a purse or a schoolbag, as for the rest of your luggage, you can store it outside your capsule. Both the sauna, the japanese style bath and food service are open ALL night (bath is closed for cleaning 3-4 am). I love this hotel, and I have stayed here twice already, and if I come back to Tokyo I will definitively come stay here

"Excellent facilities and location"
Great hotel location as it's right smack in between Harajuku and Shibuya. We took a slow 20 mins stroll from Shibuya back to the hotel in the freezing cold and the bowl of ramen provided by the hotel really helped to warm us up. Thought it was a really nice gesture provided by the hotel. However, our room that was given to us was a corner room (even though we requested not to have a corner room) that was facing the train tracks, and it was quite disturbing for a light sleeper like me to have to hear the trains every 3 mins.

"A Unique and Memorable Experience; great Price"
The Japanese Capsule Hotel experience is unique and well worth trying. This capsule hotel was very clean and the staff were great. Many spoke English and several other languages. After dropping your luggage at the front, you get a towel set and a pajama uniform. The uniform is a kind of security system and it lets employees know you are staying there. You back back to the locker and change into the pajamas. After changing, I then like to go right to the hot bath and sauna common area. In the bath, you can shower or scrub in front of the mirror. I always showered. Take the small towel with you into the shower and bath area. This can provide you modesty etc... After a shower, there is a 42 degree C hot bath to soak in. Then there is a cold bath. Then there is a nice sauna. After bathing, you go to your "room." This is actually an enclosed space with a single or double sized mattress. I was in a double "cabin" size, which is like a sleeper car on a railway. The cabin space had a nice personal tv and electrical outlets. You need an alarm, there is no wake up service. In other posts, there were noise comments. In the area I was in, there were some train sounds until midnight but no big deal. On one night, there was street noise for about a half hour. It was some sort of cleaning going on at the street level. If you are sound sensitive, use earplugs as needed. But I really didnt need them. For $20-25 US a night, this is a good unique deal.

"Nice simple clean convenient hotel."
Hotel is very clean and simple and very near to malls and happening night spots. The metro is also very nearby which is very helpful to travelers. Staff was friendly and accommodating especially room service. Though the rooms were a little bit small, the amenities and location definitely made up for it.

"Worth the price"
The staff are remarkably awkward, I mean, even considering the language barrier. I can speak a little bit of Japanese, but every word that came out of my mouth was as if I was from an alien planet to these people. It was so strange, especially since Tokyo is the most English-ish place I've been in Japan (I'm a university student in Osaka). Getting past the uncomfortable feel that the staff give you, the place is okay. The beds are really comfortable (though the top bunk is a huge physical task to get up into), and the facilities you need are there. The showers are... not the most appetizing, as a warning; the floors are pretty spongey, which is gross if you think about it too much. But you're there to sleep, not to have luxurious showers. All in all, if I need to spend a night in Tokyo for cheap, I'll probably be going here again.

"Compact hotel in a good location"
This is a small hotel with compact rooms. However, the room was nicely furnished, was comfortable and had all the essentials like a kettle, fridge, hairdryer etc. There are also computers and a printer for check in. The free WiFi worked well. Breakfast was good - both Western and Japanese options. It's in a quiet location, although the road immediately behind the hotel is a little sleazy - best avoided but not troublesome. My room had a nice view over the park. Ueno station is a 5 min walk, with several subway and JR lines. The hotel provided a good location for walks into interesting neighbourhoods to the North and East, as well as the museum and zoo. There were several good restaurants nearby, ranging from cheap and cheerful to more upscale. I would definitely consider staying here again next time I'm in Tokyo.
