This was a fabulous hotel! The guest hospitality room service was the best I have ever had! The room had so many details PJ’s great smelling bath salts, refreshments with wonderful teas I could go on will definitely stay again!

The New Otani was outstanding. The Hotel was lavishly decorated and immaculate- plenty of helpful staff willing and able to assist. The Gardens and waterfall on the property were gorgeous- we were able to walk the entire grounds and take in the beauty. We also ate at multiple restaurants and took advantage of the sky lounge with the amazing views at night- very romantic. The complex is so huge it would be helpful to have a downloadable map of the hotel to use. My son lives in Tokyo and met us at the hotel and thought it was “high society” and was impressed. Great stay - Thanks

Very nice rooms, the staff was really friendly and nice. There were a lot of dining options both inside the hotel and around the hotel. It’s a short 10 minute walk to the train station. Overall a very nice place to stay with an excellent staff

We recognised that we were paying a premium for the spacious room with seating options and a very large wash/bathroom. Appreciated the closet was big enough to take our suitcases so they weren't underfoot. The room was clean, quiet and promptly attended by housekeeping each day. Found the hotel restaurants to be very very expensive and so did not use any of them, other than for the included breakfast. Luckily Akasaka was in walking distance and had many reasonably priced and diverse eating places.

Everyone at the hotel provided excellent service. We were welcomed with hand made candies and ample supply of water. We really enjoyed the early morning Nespresso. The hotel is super clean even for Japanese standards of cleanliness. The breakfast buffet could probably still use more food items; but the staff were amazing! The hotel definitely surpassed our expectations.

There’s no one good thing to say about this hotel. From the moment we arrived we felt welcomed. The staff were amazing, the grounds were pristine. They gave us pajamas and a kimono in our rooms and the rooms were pretty spacious. If you’re considering staying here you won’t be disappointed.

Our stay at Hotel New Otani The Main was the last stop on our three-week trip through Japan, The building and grounds are extraordinary, incorporating a 10-acre Japanese garden (and several restaurants that overlook it and the city), and the staff is every bit as exceptional, making our stay as pleasant as we could have hoped. Though I am not a fan of buffets, the buffet dinner at the Tower Bar and Restaurant was over-the-top in ambience, service and food quality. The sushi, tempura, and teppanyaki stations were excellent, serving the most delicious examples of these types of cooking that we experienced during our whole trip. Finally, I wish to extend kudos to the Concierge Team, who were able to set us up with a great tour of Tokyo for the very next day following our evening arrival at the hotel. This was a woderful experience and we would definitely stay again.

Excellent service and beautiful garden. The only issue was that the room I got had very shabby carpet with stains on it. It was clean and everything but it kinda ruined the entire look, considering the rest of the furnishings were fine. (fyi this was a smoking room, so maybe its fine in regular rooms..) Otherwise decent hotel with nice amenities and good location! 4/5
